Courses providing Basic Application and Skilled Application competencies that also typically include cross-discipline competencies as well.  The Specialized level assumes that the participant has sound Foundation skills in at least one of the primary disciplines relevant to the course content.  
Solids Control Systems
         
 Basic Application and Skilled Application competencies.  The Intermediate level assumes the participant has the Foundation skills in that discipline from a combination of Foundation-level courses and on-the-job experience.  Awareness competencies may be quickly reviewed in the course, but are not rigorously taught.

Practical Drilling Skills
     
Courses providing Basic Application (along with Awareness) competencies and normally intended as the starting point for one that plans to be a practitioner in that discipline.  The Foundation level is also used as cross-training courses for those that desire a deeper understanding of fundamentals than can be obtained in a Basic course.

Introductory courses providing the Awareness Level of competency, and primarily used for multi-discipline training and cross-training persons from other disciplines.
