We can provide English language training for individuals who wish to improve their English skills. The program's emphasis is on enabling participants to communicate in English, especially in the area of oilfield terminology, and can be designed for any level of English proficiency. Target proficiency goals set for each individual are monitored throughout the program and the classes are conducted by qualified English instructors with diverse backgrounds.

In addition to the classroom instruction, ELT utilizes computer software that provides supplementary training in English grammar rules and features over 5,000 vocabulary words. Based on diagnostic tests to determine strengths and weaknesses, participants receive six hours of daily instruction. In addition to the classroom instruction, the ELT program includes social and cultural activities and orientation. The overall program assists participants in understanding American habits and customs. Field trips can be arranged upon request. Classes in the United States are held in Miami, Florida, but may be held in other locations.

ELT is scheduled at the convenience of any interested international personnel. It also is offered as an option immediately preceding any course. The length of ELT programs ranges from one week to over six months as determined by the needs of the participant.
