Introduction to Well Integrity for Engineers

About

This awareness-level course provides multidisciplinary (non-well-integrity) engineers with an awareness-level understanding of well-integrity principles throughout the well lifecycle. Participants gain foundational exposure to regulatory frameworks, well construction and barrier design, completion engineering, well operations, common failure scenarios, and lessons learned. The course prepares engineers to engage in well integrity activities under supervision while strengthening their ability to identify risks, communicate issues, and support safe well operations.

Designed for multidisciplinary teams—including drilling, completions, production, and intervention professionals—who need a common language and awareness of how their decisions and actions influence well integrity across the lifecycle
