Guaranteed Sessions

Guaranteed sessions are in-classroom courses that are scheduled for specific locations and dates that will not be cancelled.

What is a guaranteed sesssion?

Sometimes Petroskills will cancel or reschedule certain in-classroom courses, when enrollment does not meet an estabished minimum required to cover the expense of the instructor's time. A guranteed session is a scheduled in-classroom (ILT) course that has no minimum enrollment and is guaranteed to run at a specific date, time, and location. Guaranteed sessions are indicated by a "G" symbol in the scheduled training list or in the available sessions window on the course detail page.

What happens when a non-guaranteed course does not meet minimum enrollment requirements?

We do everything we can to ensure that all in-classroom courses run according to the published schedule. Occassionally, sessions need to be rescheduled or consolidated due to underwhelming enrollment or unforseeable events such as natural disasters. When courses are rescheduled or cancelled, our customer care team will reach out to all registrants to make them aware of the situation and attemp to place them in another available seesion or refund their tuition.
