Onsite Fluids Management – Well Site Supervisor

About

This course is part of the Track 1: Well Site Supervisor Development Program. Well Site Supervisor Development Program - Track 1. This Onsite Fluids Management unit seeks to equip the participant to ensure the detailed fluid design for each hole interval is implemented in partnership with the mud engineer and rig crews. When the “as is” conditions differ from the design assumptions, the participant can bridge office, service provider, and rig site personnel to revise and implement according to fluid type, chemistry, rheological properties, and density for actual conditions. Ensures appropriate wellbore stability and primary barriers are in place for well control and loss circulation events. Ensures appropriate solid control consistent with drilling optimization, cuttings removal, and effective/efficient tripping of drill pipe and casing. Ensures proper wellbore conditioning for effective cement displacement and isolation. A total of 26 hours are included in this course with 2 hrs eLearning and 24 hrs virtual instructor-led sessions.
