Project Management for Upstream Field Development – Well Site Supervisor

About

This course is part of the Track 1: Well Site Supervisor Development Program. Well Site Supervisor Development Program - Track 1 Many industry professionals consider the primary skill shared amongst the drilling, completion, and well intervention phases to be “project management principles.” Each phase is reasonably described as continuous learning/improvement projects from one well to the next or even one hole interval to the next. Like Unit 12, understanding the Project Management principles and practices through “the eyes of major operators” improves the ability of company personnel at the rig site and office to capture accretive value on behalf of the customer. This unit provides targeted awareness competency related to project management to proactively collaborate with the wide range of operators in the industry, regardless of their specific project management governance. They are crucial to the operational excellence journey to approaching the technical limit for each pairing of well type, rig type, and rig crews. A total of 46 hours are included in this course with 29 hrs eLearning and 17 hrs virtual instructor-led sessions
