Why Attend
AI and digitalization are transforming how process safety risks are identified, assessed and managed. This webinar explores the practical application of technologies including connected operations, advanced analytics, predictive maintenance and AI-assisted risk assessment, with particular attention to the emerging use of AI in PHA and HAZOP. It will examine how these tools can provide earlier warning of emerging risks, improve consistency and support better-informed decisions, while emphasizing that AI should augment rather than replace human judgement and accountability.
The webinar will also address the new risks and challenges created by increased digitalization, including cybersecurity, data quality, AI model risk and interconnected system dependencies. It will consider the governance, assurance, leadership, culture and workforce capabilities needed to adopt these technologies safely and effectively, providing participants with a practical perspective on where AI and digitalization can strengthen process safety today and where appropriate caution and human oversight remain essential.
