PetroSkills Adds New Well Construction/Drilling Expertise
We are happy to introduce Robert (Bob) Sepulvado as one of the newest instructors joining our well construction/drilling team!
Robert is passionate about developing personnel for leadership and technical roles. He has led diversified global teams with extensive expertise in creating value-added solutions in diverse technical disciplines and provided engineering and chemistry problem-solving support onsite, domestically and internationally. His experience includes over 34 years at Halliburton in various roles and serving as a board adviser at Drill2Frac where he gave technical presentations to oil and gas clients and SPE forums. He has a BS in Agricultural Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MS in Engineering & Technology Management from Oklahoma State University. Robert is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas.
Get to Know Robert Sepulvado
Q: What is your most rewarding career experience?
A: Leading a team of between 20-30 people to provide global technical solutions for the upstream industry.
Q: Where is the most interesting place you have worked?
A: West Africa, as it provided unique challenges and learning opportunities from a cultural and logistics standpoint.
Q: What was your first job out of college?
A: I worked as an Engineer in Training for Halliburton.
Q: How do you spend your free time?
A: Playing golf, reading, watching movies, time with family and during the fall attending college football events.
Q: What is your favorite book?
A: I enjoy reading a variety of books, but if I had to choose one it would be 'Discover Your Strengths' and the reason being is it is one I can reference back to not only for myself but others I work with.
