PetroSkills Adds New Reservoir Engineering Expertise
We are happy to introduce Mr. Rodolfo Camacho-Velazquez as one of the newest members joining our instructor team!
Rodolfo Camacho-Velazquez is a reservoir engineering consultant with extensive experience in researching naturally fractured reservoir dynamic characterization to estimate reserves and formation properties. He also has extensive experience in the analysis of flow of fluids in porous media considering the relevant equations that provide a better understanding of the mechanisms of fluid flow. Mr. Camacho-Velazquez is an expert in proposing new well test analysis techniques and interpretation methods of production data. He has proposed new models for naturally fractured reservoirs that provide explanation for production performance that cannot be obtained with traditional dual-porosity simulators, showing the importance of integrated reservoir characterization. He is an expert in well performance prediction for both single-phase and multiphase systems. Mr. Camacho-Velazquez has a PhD and MSc in Petroleum Engineering, both from the University of Tulsa, and a BSc in Geophysics Engineering from the National University of Mexico.
Most Interesting Place Worked: National University of Mexico
Favorite Book: "Chaos, Making a New Science" by James Gleick
Rodolfo Camacho-Velazquez will be instructing Naturally Fractured Reservoirs: Geologic and Engineering Analysis (FR). Check out the upcoming sessions!
